Monsanto will be hosting a nationwide tour to highlight its latest technology in agricultural science, including new biotechnology, breeding and agronomic practices that can help farmers to increase productivity and yield. Monsanto's latest trait technologies for corn, soybeans and cotton will be spotlighted in fields across the US this summer during the Genuity Technology Showcase Tours.
The tours will attract farmers, seed dealers and other industry members who want to see firsthand the benefits of Genuity biotechnology traits and preview future trait innovations in the company's R&D pipeline. These include drought tolerant corn and Dicamba tolerant soybeans. The Corn Belt technology showcase tours will feature the GenuitySmartStax RIB Complete technology which contains both insect-protected and refuge corn seed in a single bag. This eliminates the need for a separate refuge, except in cotton growing regions.
